Sir Stanley creates a buzz for Maritime NHL’ers for Kids
With as many as 4 members of the Boston Bruins attending, this year’s Maritime NHL’ers for Kids promises to have a very special ‘feel’. Included in the Bruins line-up of attendees are playoff star Brad Marchand and impressive young D-man Adam McQuaid. Augmenting the lineup of Stanley Cup stars in Moncton will be Vancouver Associate Coach Rick Bowness and Canucks Goalie Coach Rollie Melanson.
And, speaking of coaches, this year we will be graced by Ottawa Senator new Head Coach Paul MacLean and Assistant Coach Dave Cameron. With Paul and Dave in place the Sens are ideally positioned for a return to the higher echelons of the Eastern Conference.
Make sure you and your teammates plan to attend the Gala Celebrity Dinner & Auction, Wed July 27 at Delta Beausejour. Reception is 6.30pm with dinner follow at 7.30. Amazingly unique and experiential packages will again be featured in the Live Auction – always an exciting part of the evening. Remember, bidding is only half the fun! A fact that auctioneer Rob Barry guarantees!
Back by popular demand, “Long Ball King” Brett Cleverdon will showcase his amazing demonstration of galactic-like drives and trick shots - immediately after tournament play at Fox Creek July 28.
With a tip-of-the-hat to minor hockey’s Louis Gaudet, more than 130 Moncton area youth hockey players, boys and girls, will join the fun at Fox Creek at team ‘caddies’. Out of respect for these youngsters we ask for your cooperation complying with our ‘no alcohol’ rule during tournament play.
